CAP CITY ATHLETIC 1847

COMMUNITY SERVICE

We provide a wide range of professional services to meet your needs. We promise to provide every service with a smile, and to your highest level of satisfaction.

Fall - Capital Area Down Syndrome Association

Cap City High School aged teams will serve in a volunteer capacity for the Capital Area Down Syndrome Association working with and coaching the kids that are a part of their program.

This Fall our HS aged teams will participate. Players are asked to attend one session and bring a great attitude and to show their passion, excitement, and enjoyment of the game to these kids.

Winter - Holiday Giving for Lansing Foster Children through MDHHS

Each holiday season, Cap City comes together to provide gifts for all of the foster kids at MDHHS. Each child in the care of MDHHS receives two gifts from Cap City families.

Spring - Lansing River Trail Clean Up

Cap City Athletic 1847 is proud to continue with our goals to provide opportunities to develop our players on more than just the soccer field. This Spring we be working with in our community and provide service to the City of Lansing and the Lansing River Trail. All teams will be asked to participate in the clean up of the Lansing River Trail. We hope that many parents are able to participate as well. We hope that this small act of service will continue to build the character of our players, families, and organization.

The Lansing River Trail now stretches all the way from Waverly Road to
Old Town. You can also catch it from Potter Park into MSU. Altogether, over 20 miles of paved trail pass through numerous parks and natural areas, as well as Downtown Lansing. You can learn more about the Lansing River Trail at http://lansingrivertrail.org.
